RENOVO Biotin Hairline Enhancer

Its been a while since I’ve shown you some ‘Renovo Biotin Hairline Enhancer’ results, so let’s back to what this exciting product can do! https://jujuchan.com/renovo/

It’s been more difficult for me to monitor clients results closely since the pandemic as I don’t get to see people on a regular schedule.
So instead of my usual 1, 2 and 3 month results, these pics of my client shows the results of both sides of the hairline over a course of a year.
Hairlines thin out and this can happen to any of us for a number of reasons – age, health, stress and heritage. These factors all affect how the hairline and hair reacts. We can try to remedy this by de-stressing our lives OR taking vitamins, but in reality, we can only do so much to help.
I created Renovo because my own hairline on one side started receding and thinning. I wanted something topical that could be applied directly to the problem area. From my own results and all the results that I have shown you in my feed, you can see that most (80%) of women have seen a significant change in the density.
Some will find it hard to see the progress and may even think its not working on them, this is why its so important to take ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures, only when you compare the area 3 to 6 months later will you see how well nourished and full your hairline has become.
Can be used along with Biotin supplements.
All my non professional pictures are taken my me and are untouched and show real people with real results.

Different Types of Layers…

Have you ever wondered what type of layers to ask for when you go to the hairdressers? Here are some ideas and facts to think about before you decide.
There are not very many combinations to think about when talking about layers. There are afew variation of things like – thickness, length, fringe, and messiness. These range from long heavy layers, medium length layers with heavy bottom, lighter short layers with wispy edges, rocker edgy very short layers with wispy ends or ultra funky disconnected layers.

Each one can then be combined with either a long fringe, sweepy fringe, blunt, soft, shorter fringe, or even chunky funky very short fringe.
From there you would need to decide whether to have blunter ends (cut with scissors) or wispy ends (cut with a razor) From these few options you can safely decide which one is more suitable for your needs. Finish with great styling products, like my sea salt spray Tousle – for that messy beach look

Long Heavy layers (as seen on Angelina above)– this one is good for people who like their hair to look abit neater, the heavier layers are good for keeping waves weighed down, therefore the blow dry stays longer and hair stays in place longer.

This one is also showing long layers but done on shorter hair but again notice how the hair is neater looking because the weight of the layers weigh the hair down. Both were cut with scissors.

On Jocelyn (above) the layers are taken shorter but still quite controlled and heavy, still cut with scissors but this time the layers are chopped into abit to show more wispiness towards the ends. Jocelyn’s layers were combined with a longer side swept fringe. Use Bounce curl cream for hair with any type of wavy or curl movement.

Here we have a combination of a long fringe and short layers, cut with the razor to bring out the waves as much as possible, this is ideal for people who prefer their hair to look messier, hence all the weight taken out and the wispy edges.

Lastly, here’s Livia cut by Joni, with her razored short rocker layers, hair is made more extreme by taking the top layers very short, this is for the ones who love alot of texture and enjoy their hair standing out more from the crowd.
So hopefully, armed with these facts and ideas you will be able to go into a salon and describe your dream layers more.

My new Tousle Surf Spray is here!!

I would like to introduce my new product – Tousle Surf Spray!

So what is a surf spray then? Its used to give the hair an unkempt tousled ‘been at the beach all day’ kind of look. It clumps the hair together to give a messier easy going texture.

So what makes ‘Tousle’ different? Tousle was developed to be light and airy with no rough feel and with some subtle shine.

As with all my other products, it’s #fragrancefree #parabenfree#nosodiumlaurylsulfate#nosodiumlaurethsulfate Pretty chuffed with this one, Enjoy it! Available now @dekkosalon or here on the Tousle page.

Moody Blues by Kieran Tudor

Moody Blues Collection extract taken from Behind The Chair:

‘Forget about rigidity, structure, formalism and order. Here we have a slouchy, chic, mix-and-match vibe. Somehow still proper, but with huge dollops of innovation and a fresh take on the standard beehive, blunt bob, shag and long layers. All doused in the dusky light of a midwinter afternoon – that time of exquisite anticipation between day and night.’

The ‘IT’ style

I would call this the extreme wig version of the ‘it’ style that you see everywhere, as in, the bob, one length, no layers with an added heavy fringe.

This cute look was done by Arturo Swayze  (editorial stylist) on Rila Fukushima (Japanese fashion model and actress).

Here’s another version I came across on Christine-lewis/tumblr which showed the similar look, sharper, stronger with a shorter fringe, love them! (Make up by Christine Lewis, Photo by Franklin Thompson)

Dekko’s Daily Grind ~ Nancy

Nancy came into Dekko wanting to donate all her hair to charity. She really wasn’t too worried about going too short so we decided to take all her hair off to chin length. I cut her hair with the razor to try to bring out any movement and wave that she might have in her hair. It was a good move, because as soon as the weight came off the hair, lots of kicks and twists came through in her hair which allowed me to work with it and create a cutesy messy bob shape that she could also wear smooth if she needed to.

Here’s Nancy before her haircut:

This is after the haircut, (sorry about picture quality in these) we styled it with some Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray and finished off with Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray:

My Pick ~ Modern Bowl Cut

Really love this modern take on the Halo Haircut. Not quite as precise as the classic bowl cut, but I love this one because it’s abit rougher around the edges and the sides are abit shorter giving it a cross between a halo and a touch of mullet. Love it!

Unfortunately I came across this haircut but it had no credit for the haircut, and you know how that bugs me so much, I will continue to hunt down the producer of this great look and once I find out, I’ll let you all know..
